A New Data Analytics Approach for Pump Control and Optimization
Using Standard Deviation (SD) to analyze historical pump data which will optimize flow output in terms of pump action
If the curve of the measured flow falls, a user selectable number of SDs either above or below:
1. the manufacturer's pump curve;
2. field determined curve
then take corrective action to bring the measured curve closer to the pump curve.
The action can take the form of increasing the RPM, or decreasing the RPM or both.
Automatically compensates for production decline
Process dynamically adjusts either electrically or hydraulically driven systems
Will reduce lifting costs
Can be used stand alone or with a group of wells (using sensor(s))
Note: The sampling time interval and frequency of samples (for the SD) are user selectable.
